1. Measure the items that will be stored and ensure that there is 2-inches of empty space between the edges of the bag and its contents to allow for proper vacuum sealing.
2. Fill the bag with the premeasured contents.
3. Insert the open end of the bag into a NatureVac Vacuum Sealer (or any compatible vacuum sealer.)
4. Vacuum and seal as normal. That’s it!
Stored foods can be reheated to the boiling point in the bag or can be put directly into the microwave after piercing. Place a small slit in the vacuum bag before heating cooked foods and before defrosting food in a microwave. Monitor vacuum bag during cooking on the stove. Ensure that the bag has at least 1-inch of water surrounding it so that the vacuum bag is not in direct contact with the bottom or sides of the heated pot.

Do not reuse the vacuum bags after use with raw meats, greasy foods, or seafood. Do not reuse vacuum bags after microwaving, steaming, or boiling. Do not use the vacuum bags in an oven or broiler.
